We just got back from a GREAT weekend at Space Center Houston presenting at the Space Exploration Educators Conference! Our Saturday session covered the basics of how video games can be used in the classroom, the research supporting games as viable teaching tools, and concluded with some time to allow educators time to play through the game’s demo. Feedback so far has been extremely positive and we’re very excited to be making new contacts in new schools!
If you ever get the chance, DEFINITELY find a reason to attend SEEC. It is three fun days chock full of NASA and space exploration activities, plus excellent keynotes and tours. Also, there’s a great party on Friday night and Max Q (the all-astronaut band) plays.
For our SEEC educators who joined us on 2/4, the slides from our presentation are here. Please contact us if you have any questions!
